Tip 1. Be conscious of the time
Always have a clock , phone , computer or anything that displays time available around you so you would be always be aware of the time and set them all to the same time.
Tip 2. Wake up when you’re supposed to
the snooze button was not made to be an an excuse to stay abot longer in bed. And Move your alarm clock OUT OF REACH from your bed. that way you have to get up to turn it off.
Tip 3. Commit yourself to being 15 minutes Early for everything
That way you will be on time even with a traffic jam. And on those rare times that u actually show up 15 minutes early you will be praised for being an enthusiastic employee.
Tip 4. Re-examin how long your daily tasks really take
If you think it takes you for example 30 minutes to wake up ,get dressed , have a cup of coffee and leave for work in the morning don’t just estimate time yourself from the moment you open your eyes to the moment you shut your apartment door on the way out.
Tip 5. Find out those Time Sinkholes
There are times when you get so consumed if doing something and don’t realise where or how time flew. Its time you find out what it is and how to reduce your time loss.
Tip 6. Be Organised
Looking for your car keys or Important documents wouldn’t help make you any less late.
Keep things that you use every day in some resemblance of organization and your routines will go smoother.
Tip 7. Never get Lost
If you are going to some unfamiliar place look over a map , have your transportation route planned and if you are depending on another person for a ride- have a plan B!
Tip 8. Plan ahead
Pick out your clothes the night before. If you need to bring something with you, set it with your car keys or bag.
Tip 9. #Go to sleep on time
This makes it a lot easier to get up on time and helps you stay more productive at work.
Tip 10. Check traffic and local weather before you leave
Hitting a traffic jam because of a big accident on the road or taking the car through foggy roads that you can’t see the boot of your car will not only make you late for wherever you are going but it might put you in danger or in a bad situation as well.
Quick thing to remember. “If you are 5 minutes early, you’re on time. If you’re on time, you’re late. If you’re late, then you’ve got a lot of explaining to do.”
